Heidelberg Church strives to promote the word of God in children and adults. Our Sunday Schools is one way that we do that. Sunday school starts at 9:30 AM every Sunday morning from September through June. Our Sunday School program offers learning opportunities for all ages beginning with the preschoolers in the nursery and continuing through the 8th grade and up to adults.
The nursery environment introduces the children to their first Bible stories, The Ten Commandments, structured prayer, and group singing.
Heidelberg takes a personal interest in the continuing Christian education of the adult membership and our community. We have a weekly adult Sunday School from September through June. Various topics are presented during the classes and interaction and discussion is highly encouraged. Questions are asked, different points of view are expressed, and more. Our classes have been provocative, lively, challenging, informative, and diverse. Come join us on Sunday morning for our adult Sunday School.
This year, our children have gone through the Deep Blue curriculum. It comes complete with lesson plans ranging from topics like Moses to Jesus and his miracles. Each lesson has an activity, such as cooking or a craft, that helps reinforce the lesson.
